Abstract
Resident satisfaction is the starting point、the end result and the eternal theme of the government sports public service.The article evaluates residents’ satisfaction with sports public services of Chengdu using the IPA analysis method.We find that in general,resident satisfaction with sports public services in Chengdu is high,but there is still room to improve with sports instructors,sports facilities and their maintenance,national physique monitoring and other aspects.The aim of this paper is to explore the gap between supply of sports public service in Chengdu and residents’ actual demand for sports,with a view to providing valuable data for further improving the efficiency of public service provision in Chengdu.
