Abstract

As the products of the culture in the state of Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period , the portraits in the Han Dynasty in Nanyang is one of the summits in the Chinese Art History . The thesis discusses the composition of the portraits in the Han Dynasty from its skeleton, its location, the construction of its frame as well, it also gives the important role of its composition in Chinese painting history and lays a solid foundation for the development of the portraits composition in China.
