Voice from the Stone Hades——A Comprehensive Analysis of the Stone Veins in Portraits of Han Dynasty

Abstract
The stone portraits in Han Dynasty are the gems of ancient stone inscription art,which were produced in the middle of Western Han,prosperous in Eastern Han,and declining in the Eastern Han.The portraits were the production of how people at that time show fealty and honest to their ancestors,a custom of extravagant funerals.The present article provides us with a comprehensive analysis of the stone veins of the portraits in Han Dynasty from the humanistic point of view,in order to better understand the essence of the culture form the perspectives of art,society,religion,scientific understanding,and the change of human psychology.
