Abstract
There are some defects with water or oil as a quenching medium,and it cannot meet production needs.By analyzing the cooling curves of an ideal quenching medium,we found that atomization gas can be taken as the cooling characteristics of quenching media and it could meet the requirements.We designed three types of atomization gas quenching equipment programs for atomization gas quenching experiments.By comparative studies conducted on three type of quenching equipment,we have come to the conclusion that design of gas quenching spray equipment should pay special attention to three issues.It is good for the later job about quenching equipment.
