Abstract

This paper arranges,sums up and analyses the definitions,featrues,selection strategies and functions of Pragmatic Presupposition from a pragmatic point of view.We can use the theory of Pragmatic Presupposition to explore linguistic practical application,pointing out that Pragmatic Presupposition has been found widely used in our daily lives,especially in advertising languages.
