Abstract
Objective To investigate the association between lipoprotein lipase(LPL) rs326 polymorphism and ischemic stroke. Methods A case-control study of 1 019 subjects was performed including 600 acute ischemic stroke patients and 419 controls.LPL rs326 genotypes were determined by PCR-RFLP.Results The frequency of GG genotype of rs326 was significantly higher in patients group than that in control group(P0.05).600 patients were divided into cerebral thrombosis infarction group and lacunar infarction group, and the distribution of LPL rs326 G allete was different significantly between cerebral thrombosis infarction group and control group. Conclusions LPL rs326 polymorphism is associated with the pathogenesy of cerebral thrombosis infarction.
