Legal Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Traditional National Sports in China

The article analyzes the threats faced by traditional national sports in China in their preservation and development,the status of their preservation and existing problems. It then expounds on ways to protect intangible cultural heritage of traditional Chinese sports,and obligations that the government should fulfill in laying down and perfecting supporting regulations that go with the Intangible Cultural Heritage Law. It also discusses the rational development and utilization of the intangible cultural heritage of traditional national sports and problems revolving around managing and protecting the inheritors.
