Abstract

Confucianist orthodoxy is the core of the Chinese traditional culture,and the idea of filial piety and fraternal love is one of its nuclear concepts.After the Zhou dynasty,the rulers administered their subjects with a clan system originating form a primitive system based on blood relation.In the Tang and Song dynasties,it evolved into a patriarchal clan system.This is the legal system in the feudal society and its execution depends on the concept of filial piety and fraternal love advocated by Confucianism.
