Abstract
Liu changing once called himself Wu Yan Chang Cheng, and hence led to various interpretations of this title. The general idea is that it refers to the long pieces of his five-character poems, but some others hold that it refers to the short pieces. In effect, Liu Changqing's Wu Yan Chang Cheng should be considered as his preference and reliance on the artistic value of his numerous five-character poems.
