Abstract

Objective To investigate the resistant characteristics of clinical isolates of Enterobacter cloacae. Methods Clinical isolates of Enterobacter cloacae were identified by Vitek-AMS and all drugs were tested by disk diffusion methods. Results The drug resistance of E.cloacae was increased to antibiotics, such as cephalosporins, quinolones,et al.Their non-susceptivity rates to ceftazidime and cefotaxime were 45.3% and 52.9% respectively. It was susceptible to cefepime and imipenem. Conclusion Multidrug-resistant strains of E.cloacae is remarkable. We should pay attention to change and use antibiotics reasonably in clinical chemotherapy.
