Abstract
A vibrator of a linear ultrasonic motor using standing wave was proposed.The vibrator, by making use of double surface driving and shifting inspiring vibration frequencies,can implement linear movements in two directions.The analytical expression of the vibrator of the ultrasonic motor was deduced.Working mold and working frequency of the vibrator were analyzed by experiment.The comparision in theoretical analyses was made with experimental result of the prototype.
