Analysis and countermeasure of the internal diseases spectrum of pre-hospital emergency care

Objective To evaluate and analyze the situation and order of internal diseases distribution in the pre-hospital emergency care during the past four years of our emergency department,and supply information in more special training first-aid staff,allocation of medical materials.Methods The registered data of house calls in internal diseases from the year 2005 to 2008 were collected with retrospective investigation.The results were analyzed in many aspects to find the distribution law.Results No apparent changes are found in the distribution of the internal diseases from the year 2005 to 2008 in the pre-hospital emergency care.Cardiovascular diseases were the main medical diseases in the pre-hospital emergency care.The diseases from nerve system,respiratory system,acute poison were arranged from 2、3、4 in turn respectively in the internal diseases distribution.Coronary heart diseases,hypertension,cerebroartery insufficiency,cerebrovascular accident,chronic bronchitis,lung infection,alcoholism and sedative poison and so on were the most common diseases in the pre-hospital emergency care.Conclusion Cardiovascular diseases are still the main causes in the pre-hospital emergency care of the internal disease.It is necessary for medical workers in emergency department to enhance to understand the internal diseases spectrum in local district and are trained continuously to improve their abilities in rescuing the patients.
