Abstract
Several laboratory experiments were completed by adding different ratios of lime to modify the high liquid limit soil of LiuLi Expressway,and the physico-mechanical properties and the strength change laws of the lime improved high liquid limit soil were studied.Through synthetically considering testing result and economic benefit,the best lime quantity of the high liquid limit soil of Liu-Li Expressway.The results show that the high liquid limit soil can be well used as subgrade filling of expressway after being treated with 4% lime.
