Advancement or Backwardness:Thoughts on the Modernization of Chinese Pedagogy

In the past century,the education has been learning from the West,and making reflection and criticism of its educational tradition.While criticizing the tradition,learning from the West is the inevitable path the educational reform in China should follow,but not the only direction of development.Therefore,the dream of achieving the modernization of pedagogy is not copying the western pattern,but forming pedagogy with Chinese characteristics.Only based on our own culture,it is possible to build a real modern education.The mission entrusted to us is not tolink up with others,but to create and build our own track of modernization in education.Chinese pedagogy should reflect the spirits of culture,ethics and nationality.
