Abstract
Based on the principle of pipeline's magnetic flux leakage(MFL),and the specification Φ325mm tube detector is used as investigated subject.A mathematical model of MFL field is presented based on the basic theory of finite element(FE)analysis, and a two-dimensional entity model of MFL inspection system is also established by ANSYS software to simulate magneto statics, from which MFL signals and the distribution of magnetic line of force produced by rectangle defects are obtained.A workbench for inspection and measurement MFL is built with the tube detector, and the multi-channel flaw leakage signals obtained by the Hall sensor array are gathered, two groups of data are contrasted and analyzed. The experimental results demonstrate that the numerical results agree well with the experimental data.
