Effect observation and analysis on treating coronary heart disease in TCM

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effect of the TCM on treating coronary heart disease. Methods: 80 cases of coronary heart disease in our hospital were randomly divided into the treated group and control group, 40 for each. The control group was given traditional modern medicine therapy, the treated group was given TCM treatment. Clinical efficacy of two groups was observed. Results: Patients in treated group markedly effective 23 cases, effective in 14 cases, the patient total efficiency of 92.5%, in control group 12 cases markedly effective, effective in 14 cases, the total efficiency was only 65.0%. In the treated group curative effect was significantly better than control group(P0.05). Conclusion: Treating coronary heart disease in TCM can greatly improve the cure rate; it is worth in the clinical application.
