Clinical observation on curative effect of combination of TCM with Western medicine on acute stage of pulmonary heart disease

Abstract

Objective To observe cyratuve effect of combination of TCM with Western medicine on acute stage of pulmonary heart disease.Methods 83 cases with acute stage of pulmonary heart disease were randomly divided into control group(n=41) and treatment group(n=42).Patients in control group were treated with routine therapy of western medicine,and 42 cases in treatment group were treated with TCM therapy according to syndrome differentiation on the basis of western medicine.Results After treatments,the clinical symptom and physical sign all improved obviously in 2 groups.The hospital day in treatment group was shorter than that in control group.There was significant difference between 2 groups(P0.05).Conclusion Combination of TCM with western medicine show better curative efficacy on acute stage of pulmonary heart disease.
