Abstract

That frequent geological hazards cause enormous losses is noticeable in our country.Risk assessment of geological hazards is the base to provide scientific basis for no-engineering reduce hazard.This paper deals with methodology of risk assessment of geological hazards and history,present situation and looking ahead of the application of GIS to the risk assessment of geological hazards.
