Abstract
Using ultra high pressure method(UHP),based on the single factor test, the L9(34) orthogonal design was used to optimum extraction process of polysaccharides from Houttuynia cordata Thunb. The effect of solid to liquid ratio, ultra high pressure, extraction time on yields of polysaccharides from Houttuynia cordata Thunb was studied. The results showed that under the conditions of solid to liquid ratio 1∶20 g/mL,pressure 320 MPa and extract time 4.5 min,the yield of polysaccharides was 5.850%.This method was a better method for extracting polysaccharides from Houttuynia cordata Thunb.
