Abstract
According to the analysis,multimedia and network-based college English teaching which has brought great changes to traditional English teaching methods and teaching conditions,will greatly promote the reform of college English teaching and unavoidably produce a great challenge to the traditional roles of teachers and students.Therefore,the study of new roles of teachers and students in college English teaching reform is of great significance both in theory and practice.
