Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of nursing intervention affect on compliance and relapse of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods A total of 60 patients with COPD patients were randomly divided into intervention group and the control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine care and symptomatic treatment, the intervention group focused on psychological care, oxygen therapy, medication, dietary guidance and healthy education, treatment adherence and the average length of stay, nursing satisfaction and the recurrence rate affer half a year of the two groups were compared. Results The compliance rate of intervention group was 96.7%,significantly higher than 73.3% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). The average length of stay in the intervention group was significantly shorter than the control group, the care satisfaction scores in the intervention group were significantly higher than the control group(P0.05). Follow-up of six months, the intervention group relapsed one case, control group had 6 cases of recurrence, the difference of the recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of the system of nursing interventions during the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, beneficial to improve compliance and reduce the recurrence rate, so as to promote the rehabilitation of patients.
