Abstract

ESP's teaching is facing the challenge of the new era.Old textbooks,traditional teaching methods are not able to meet the new challenge.In our country,the teaching of ESP has only been through dozens of years of tests.The study of ESP is still at its early stage.This article analyzes the characteristics,the scope,and the contents of ESP.It also discusses ESP's requirements on both teachers and students.In addition,it explores the teaching approaches of ESP courses.
