A Comparative Analysis of the Economic Openness of Hubei Province and Some Proposals

By studying the degrees of the openness of foreign trade,foreign capital,overall economy and international investment,this paper compares the economic openness and urban primacy index in Hubei province with some other provinces.The results show that in Hubei province,there exists a relatively narrow economic openness,a big difference in the economic openness among cities,and high urban primacy index.However,this trend is developing in a way towards equilibrium,and this paper puts forward some proposals.
