Clinical Observation on the effect of XueWei Mai Xian Therapy plus Triad-therapy of Western Medicine on 84 Cases of Helicobacter Pylori Related Duodenal Ulcer

Objective To study the effect and eradication of Xue Wei Maixian Therapy plus triad-ther-apy of western medicine on helicobacter pylori(Hp)related duodenal ulcer. Methods The 168 cases were ran-domly divided into two groups,The control group,84 cases,was treated by standard triad therapy:ormeprazole, amoxicillin and metronidazole per os for one week in succession,then only ormeprazole,20 mg each time,twice a day,3 weeks in succession. The treatment group,84 cases,was treated by Xue Wei Mai Xian Therapy per os, once,for 4 weeks in succession in addition to taking the above-mentioned western medicines in the same way as the control group. Before and after treatment both groups were given the Hp test for comparing the therapeutic effect. Results The treatment group was better than the control group in the effect under gastroscope,Hp eradi-cative rate,symptom improvement,and one-year recurrent rate( P 0. 05). Conclusion The combination of Xue Wei Mai Xian Therapy plus triad-therapy of western medicine for the treatment of positive duodenal ulcer is remarkable in improving eradicitive rate of Hp.
