Abstract

By adopting the meaning of codified law of the word of Roman law,this paper has testified that the point in common in juridical aspect of BRICS is codified law.The paper explained the mother law position of Roman law to the Chinese law,the Russian law,the Brazil law and the South African law.And by studying the Indian history of civil codification,the paper also testified the Indian law,although it has no relationship with Roman law,also is a codified law.The author has suggested that the scholars of BRICS should strengthen an intercourse about the experience of doing codification,and an intercourse of experience about the making an unified personal law in a country with multiple nationality and religion
