Abstract

Some epidemic links of maize curvularia leaf spot disease were studied.The results showed that oozy matter in maize leaf could accelerate remarkably the germination and appressorium formation of spores.Spores of Curvularia lunata were flying apart mainly in daytime.In a month,the disease could spread 250 meters in the same direction as the wind.The disease gradient model was xi=159.33·exp(-0.010 3di).Space distribution of the disease was random.
