Abstract
According to the investigation, the agent of maize Curvularia leaf spot could be spread far away by seed. The differences of susceptibility appeared among different varieties of maize. The pathogen overwinter naturally on diseased materials. The raininess, high temperature and high humidity are propitious to the disease occurrence. The symptoms of this disease appear at the seedling stage and get epidemic at earing stage, then become stable in autumn.
