Abstract
ZigBee is a new low power,lower-cost,local wireless communication technology.The IEEE 802.15.4 standard,ZigBee specification and it's benefits are introduced in this paper,and discussed in detail the hardware design of ZigBee network based on Freescale ZigBee solution.MC13213 and BeeStack are applied to design the ZigBee network node.Coordinator and router are main-powered,and end-device is battery-powered.Test result indicates that the ZigBee is a kind of self-forming,auto-routing and self-healing wireless network,and the end-device node power consumption is very low.
