Abstract

Objective To explore the significance of TSH receptor antibody(TRAb) in the diagnosis, treatment and relapse of Graves' disease(GD).Methods The serum TRAb,TPOAb and TGAb of 116 patients with GD were detected before treatment and 6,12,18 months after the treatment. The patients were divided into 4 groups according to prognosis, including untreated group, modified group, relapsed group and hypothyroidism group, and controlled with 37 healthy persons. Results The positive rate of TRAb of control group was lower than that of other groups. The TRAb of the untreated group and the relapsed group were obviously higher than that of the modified group.TPOAb and TGAb of hypothyroidism group were remarkably higher than that of other groups. Conclusion It is valuable to detect serum TRAb,TPOAb and TGAb in the diagnosis and treatment in Graves' disease.
