Xiao Hong is a unique modern writer and her works have something in common with Buddhism.There are philosophical thoughts in her works.She has experienced suffering,realized the tragedy in life and understood the meaning of life and death.With little schooling,Xiao Hong approached a field of philosophy and religion in her works in a simple way.So,there is a philosophic atmosphere in her works.
