Abstract
A new metal/PES composite material was mentioned.PES/metal self-lubricating composite material was prepared by using mosaic, painting and mechanical blending-compress molding process. The tribological properties were investigated by friction and wear experiments under dry sliding friction conditions, and the load and speed on the friction properties was studied. The wear surface of the composite was studied by the SEM,and the wear mechanism was analyzed. The results showed that:the composites of excellent tribological properties can be produced by using mosaic, painting and mechanical blending-compress molding process;under dry sliding friction conditions, the friction coefficient and wear loss of composites decreased with the increase of load, and increased with the increase of speed;the wear mechanism changed from plowing, abrasive wear transfer to adhesive wear.
