Discussion on Infra-red Guided Missile and Infra-red Decoy Flare

Based on the countermeasure and counter-countermeasure of IR guided missile and IR decoy flare,the threats posed by the IR guided missile to the aircraft are introduced.The airborne IR decoy flare is an important measure for the aircraft protection.The relation between the countermeasure and counter-countermeasure of IR guided missile and IR decoy flare is analyzed synthetically,and the integrated demands for IR decoy flare which are applied against IR imaging guided missile are put forward.
