Abstract
Glycidyl-trimethylammonium chloride(GTMAC) has ether bond with high reactivity, can be used for organic synthesis and as a modifier graft.Using epichlorohydrin(EPIC) and trimethylamine(TMA) to synthese GTMAC,the best synthesis conditions are:n(TMA) ∶n(EPIC)=0.3,the reaction time is 6.5 h,the reaction temperature is 20 ℃,the best solvent is epichlorohydrin, yield of GTMAC is 92.5%,the products is characterized by IR spectra, its melting point is 137~139 ℃.
