Abstract
After the sample was leached in dilute acetic acid and the filtered residue was extracted with AlCl3 solution, the calcium fluoride content in the extract was determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.Under the selected instrument conditions, interference tests for AlCl3 and F-were conducted, and the results showed that the presence of AlCl3 interfered with the determination of Ca,but determination could be conducted after matrix matching by adding AlCl3 into the standard solution. As verified with the certified reference materials, the proposed method achieved high accuracy and precision and the determined values of calcium fluoride in the certified reference materials of fluorite ore were consistent with the certified values, the relative standard deviation(n=6) being less than 1%.Compared with traditional methods, the proposed method is simple, rapid and suitable for rapid determination of calcium fluoride in fluorite ore.
