Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of serum cystatin C in determining renal function pregnant women. Methods:Serum cystatin C was detected with immunoturibimetry, serum urea was detected with rate method, serum creatinine was detected with enzymatic method. Results:Total number of the samples selected were 246 cases. The levels of serum cystatin C of pathologic group(pregnancy-inbuced hypertension syndrome group, gestational diabetes mellitus group, light pre-eclampsia group, twins group) were significantly higher than that of normal control pregnant women group(P0.05),concentration of serum urea and serum creatinine have no significantly abnormity(P0.05) against normal cases. Conclusion:The detection of serum cystatin C is more sensitive, safe than that of serum urea and serum creatinine in renal light dysfunction. It can more efficiently be used in obstetrics.
