Abstract

Objective: To observe curative effects of ZhiKe JiuFeiTang and western medicine in treating cough variant asthma. Method: All 90 patients were allocated into the treatment group and the control group. Both groups were administered with routine treatment of meptin tablets, becotide spray and ketotifen. The observation group took ZhiKe JiuFei Tang, one dose per day, water decocted. Two weeks were one course of treatment, to observe clinical effects after treating one course of treatment. Result: Clinical control rate of the treatment group was 62.22%, higher than 46.67% of the control group. Total effective rates of both groups were 95.56% and 82.22%, the differences between both groups were significant in clinical control rate and total effective rate(P0.05). Daily symptom scale and night symptom scale of both groups were decreased remarkably after treating(P0.05), the improvement of the treatment group was notable than that of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion: ZhiKe JiuFei Tang and routine treatment of western medicine could obtain notable effects in treating cough variant asthma, which could better improve clinical symptom.
