Abstract

China is a big country of sericulture,which has rich resources of silkworm excrement.At present,silkworm shit has not been fully exploited,mainly used as agricultural fertilizer or be dropped,which caused environmental pollution and resource waste.In recent years,silkworm excrement resources continued to be utilized in industry,agriculture,pharmaceutical and food industries.This article mainly reviewed the basic situation and diverse utilization of silkworm excrement resources in animal husbandry,farming,pharmaceutical and food industries,and the future of applications prospect is presented.
