Investigation on Current Condition of Sports Population in Rural Undeveloped Areas in Hunan,Hubei and Chongqing

By using the method of sampling,mathematical statistics,interview investigation and ocumentary,this paper investigates current condition of sports population in rural areas,find out existing problems for sports development.The main purpose is to provide basis for establishing sports developing plan.The result shows that the number of the sports population in these areas is far below than that of whole country.The main reasons are undeveloped economic,outdated ideas of sports,lacking of grass roots organizations shortage of playground and equipment.It suggests that increasing economic development in rural undeveloped areas;improving living standard,perfecting grass root sports organization and playground are the key work to enhance sports activity in rural areas.
