Water Quality Analysis and Water Environment Protection in Dongting Lake

Abstract

Based on observation data,the author analyzes the present situations and change tends of water environment quality in Dongting Lake area.The result shows the main pollutions of Dongting Lake are TP and TN;and other evaluation items are between categoryⅡandⅢ;so Dongting Lake has eutrophication trends.Based on present situations and change tends,protection measures are put forward for water environment in Dongting Lake area.
