Experimental Study on the Effects of Modified Yunu Decoction on the Plasma Motilin and Serum Gastrin of Gastrointestinal Dysfunction Diabetic Rat

Abstract

Objective:To discuss the therapeutic effect of Modified Yunu Decoction on pneumogastric neuropathy of the diabetes rats by observing its influence on motilin、gastrin and to disclose the mechanism of improving and treating diabetic gastrointestinal dysfunction.Methods:The diabetic rats were induced by IP of STZ and were fed irregularly.30 Wister diabetic rats were randomly divided into three groups:model group,Chinese medicine treatment group,Mosapride treatment group,10 rats in each group.The control group was fed regularly on standard rats feed.The other three groups were fed irregularly,eating in odd-number days and fasting in even-numbered days.Each group was perfused stomach with drugs during establishing the model,once per day,lasted 2 weeks.Fifth weekend anesthesia death was operated.We measured the levels of MOT and GAS in the blood with radioimmunoassay(RIA).Result:(1)The influence on gastrin in blood serum:The model group and control group,there is a significant difference(P0.01).The Modified Yunu Decoction group is obviously lower compared with model group(P0.05);There is no remarkable difference between the Modified Yunu Decoction group and the Mosapride group(P0.05).(2)The influence on the plasma motilin:MOT of model group is significantly higher than that of control group.Compared with model group,plasma motilin of the Modified Yunu Decoction group was significantly lower(P0.05).There is no difference between the Modified Yunu Decoction group and the Mosapride group on the level of MOT in the blood(P0.05).Conclusion:The findings suggested that Modified Yunu Decoction may have a value in preventing and treating of diabetic gastrointestinal dysfunction.
