Abstract

New shield filler was selected to study the treatment of organic pesticide wastewater by sequencing batch biofilm reactor(SBBR)process. Results showed that final operating parameters of SBBR were anaerobic period 2.0h,aerobic period 4.0h,oxygen supply 0.12~0.15m3/h,DO 4.9~7.5mg/L and pH 7.0~8.0.The removal efficiency of COD,BOD5 and TP were 85%,90% and 93% respectively, with effluent quality satisfactory to Class Ⅱ of GB8978-96.
