On the Theoretical and Practical Value of the Objective of Building a Well-off Society in an All-round Way

The first two decades of the twenty-first century is an important period of strategic opportunity for China,and it is also a period that we should coordinate our efforts for the comprehensive construction of a well-off society to a higher level,which will benefit over a billion people of our country.The 17th CPC National Congress has proposed higher demands for the comprehensive construction of a well-off society,which are to further develop economy,improve democracy,advance science and education,prosper culture,and make our society more harmonous and people's lives more well-off.The proposed objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way is a breakthrough as well as an advancement for the traditional theory of socialism,which will accelerate the process of socialist modernization and continue the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics to create a new situation and point out the direction for the whole party and all the people to move forward.Therefore,the objective of building a well-off society does has the important theoretical and practical value.
