Abstract
?Supported Cu-Co/MgO(ultrafine) catalyst for gas phase hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol presented high preliminary activity,selectivity of furfuryl alcohol and stability.Study of its XPS,Auger and TPR showed interaction of Cu and Co and confirmed the active center of furfural hydrogenation.Presence of cobalt enhanced stability of catalyst.Catalyst of scaled-up preparation demonstrated good catalytic performance.
