Study on Identification, Assessment and Evolution Characteristics of Industry Chain of Industry Cluster of China

This paper first establishes a conceptual framework for identification and assessment of industry cluster according to concept, content and feature of industry cluster, and then assesses industry cluster level of China from gathering capability, association capacity and competitiveness, and investigates the evolution characteristics of industry chain of industry cluster. The result shows that Petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing,metal products manufacturing, communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing and instrumentation and culture, office machinery manufacturing have stronger cluster effect, cluster effect of natural gas exploitation industry is not obvious, Other industries have not formed industrial clusters; Developmental pattern of industry cluster has evolved into complex, two-way, Interweave 'industry network' from simple, one-way,linear 'industry chain'. Finally, this paper puts forward advisement for the cluster development of China.
