Abstract
It was found in the research into the learning styles of over 1000 normal university students that the target students favored Kinesthetic and disfavored Group Styles.Significant differences were also found among students of different disciplines,gender,year of learning English and English proficiency level,for example,the higher-achievers disfavored Group Style more significantly than the lower-achievers.Correlations between learning styles and English proficiency were also checked.The paper ended up with suggestions for teaching.
