Abstract
Objective To assess the effect of cerebral infarction on intracranial hemodynamics and cerebral function. Methods Transcranial Doppler(TCD)and electroencephalogram(EEG)recordings were measured and analysed in 73 patients with cerebral infarction in the acute phase. Results In patients with cerebral infarction, TCD was abnormal obviously, EEG was also abnormal obviously, the severity of EEG abnormality was correlated with their prognosis. Conclusion The effects of cerebral infarction on intracranial hemodynamics and cerebral function are obviously,TCD and EEG measure in patients with cerebral infarction in the acute phase are conducive to treatment of cerebral infarction.
