Intensive therapy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion on newly type 2 diabetes mellites

Objective:To investigate the effect of intensive therapy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII)on newly type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hyperglycemia.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into multiple subcutaneous insulin injection(MSII)group(28 cases)and CSII group(32 cases).Results:Blood glucose could be controlled in patients.The time when the goal of blood glucose control was arrived in CSII group was shorter than that in MSII group,and the total insulin administration dose in CSII group was lower than that in MSII group;the rate of hypoglycemia in two groups was no difference.Conclusion:For type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypetglycemia,CSII is better than MSII.CSII may be an ideal method of insulin therapy in these patients
