Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of intensive therapy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSII) on diabetes mellitus. Methods 34 patients were randomly divided into CSII group(15 cases) and MSII( multiple subcutaneous insulin injection) group(19 cases). Results The time ,when the goal of blood glucose control was arrived, in CSII group was shorter than that in MSII group, and the total insulin administration dose in CSII group was lower than that in MSII group; the rate of hypoglycemia in CSII group was lower than that in MSII group. Conclusion CSII is a ideal method of intensive glucose control in diabetes.
