Discussion on 10 kV Distribution Automation System and Fault Handling

Abstract

This paper discusses application of Distribution Automation System in the field of rural distribution networks,and it introduces a type of primary distribution system connection mode which is widely used at present.In addition,the paper gives preliminary instructions on the configuration principle,data acquisition principle and selection of the communication mode in all kinds of distribution terminals in the Distribution Automation System.The paper also focuses on how to realize functions such as fault location,fault area isolation and non-fault area recovery by means of the Distribution Automation System.
