Abstract

The reliability and the automation level of distribution terminal directly affect the reliability and the automation level of entire distribution automation (DA). The paper discusses the function, classification and present situation of distribution terminal in China. It is pointed out that along with the development of intelligent and integrated terminal equipment, the new intelligent switch of 10 kV win be the development direction of distribution automation terminal
